Shipping Policy

At ONIMEY, we are committed to delivering your orders quickly and safely. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping methods, delivery times, costs, and what you can expect when ordering from us.

Shipping Coverage

We currently ship to locations across Bangladesh:

  • Dhaka and surrounding areas
  • All major cities (Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Rangpur)
  • District headquarters and sub-districts
  • Rural areas (delivery times may vary)

We do not currently offer international shipping. All orders are processed and delivered within Bangladesh only.

Processing Time

Order processing times vary depending on product availability:

  • In-Stock Items: 1-2 business days for order processing
  • Pre-Order Items: Processing begins when items become available
  • Custom/Made-to-Order: 5-7 business days for processing

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been processed and shipped.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times after order processing:

  • Dhaka City: 1-3 business days
  • Dhaka Suburbs: 2-4 business days
  • Major Cities: 3-5 business days
  • District Areas: 4-7 business days
  • Remote/Rural Areas: 5-10 business days

These are estimated timeframes and actual delivery may vary due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, courier delays, or local circumstances. We will keep you informed of any significant delays.

Shipping Methods

We partner with reliable courier services to ensure safe delivery:

  • Standard Delivery: Regular courier service for most orders
  • Express Delivery: Faster delivery for urgent orders (available in select areas)
  • Same-Day Delivery: Available for Dhaka city orders placed before 12 PM (additional charges apply)
  • Store Pickup: Free pickup from our Dhaka location (coming soon)

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated based on your location and order value:

  • Inside Dhaka: ৳60 for orders under ৳1,000
  • Outside Dhaka: ৳120 for orders under ৳1,500
  • Free Shipping: Available on orders over ৳1,500 nationwide
  • Express Delivery: Additional ৳150-200 depending on location
  • Same-Day Delivery: Additional ৳200 (Dhaka city only)

Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Special promotions may offer free or discounted shipping from time to time.

Order Tracking

Stay updated on your order status:

  • Receive email notifications at each stage of delivery
  • Track your order using the tracking number provided
  • Check order status in your ONIMEY account dashboard
  • Contact our support team for real-time updates

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships. Please allow 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

Delivery Requirements

To ensure successful delivery:

  • Provide accurate and complete shipping address including landmarks
  • Include a working phone number for delivery coordination
  • Be available to receive the package during delivery hours (9 AM - 7 PM)
  • Valid ID may be required for high-value orders
  • Someone must be present to accept and sign for the delivery

Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed:

  • The courier will attempt delivery up to 3 times
  • You will be contacted via phone before each delivery attempt
  • After failed attempts, the package will be held at the local courier office
  • You can arrange for pickup or schedule redelivery
  • Packages unclaimed after 7 days will be returned to us

Return shipping charges may apply for packages returned due to failed delivery attempts caused by incorrect address or unavailability.

Package Inspection

We encourage you to inspect your package upon delivery. Check for any visible damage to the packaging or contents. If you notice any damage, please note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately with photos. This will help us process any claims with the courier service.

Damaged or Lost Packages

In the rare event of shipping issues:

  • Damaged Packages: Report damage within 24 hours of delivery with photos
  • Lost Packages: Contact us if your package hasn't arrived within expected timeframe
  • Missing Items: Report any missing items within 48 hours of delivery
  • Wrong Items: Contact us immediately if you receive incorrect items

We will investigate all claims and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate. All packages are insured against loss or damage during transit.

Address Changes

If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible. We can modify the address only if the order has not yet been shipped. Once an order is in transit, we cannot change the delivery address. Please ensure your shipping information is correct before completing your order.

Multiple Item Orders

Orders containing multiple items may be shipped in separate packages if items are located in different warehouses or have different availability. You will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment. There is no additional shipping charge for split shipments.

Special Handling Items

Some items require special handling and may have different shipping terms:

  • Fragile Items: Extra packaging and careful handling applied
  • Large Items: May require special delivery arrangements
  • High-Value Items: Signature required upon delivery
  • Perishable Goods: Expedited shipping with temperature control

Holidays and Peak Seasons

During major holidays, festivals, and peak shopping seasons (Eid, Pohela Boishakh, Victory Day, etc.), processing and delivery times may be extended due to high order volumes. We recommend placing orders early during these periods. We will provide estimated delivery dates at checkout and keep you informed of any delays.

Customs and Duties

As we currently ship only within Bangladesh, there are no customs duties or import taxes applicable to your orders. All prices shown include applicable VAT and taxes.
